The mortality rate for COVID-19 would have been a very small fraction of a percent, like 0.001%, if everyone had had the circulating level of 25-hydroxyvitamin D which Dr Fauci had.

His body weight is average or less and he takes 0.015 mg (6000 IU) a day vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol):https://richardgreenethecivicsdean.medium.com/dr-fauci-takes-6-000-iu-of-vitamin-d-every-day-so-should-you-85d28c8f5c80. This is ten times what the US government, and most other governments, recommend.

This would have raised his circulating (in the bloodstream) level (concentration) of 25-hydroxyvitamin D (calcifediol AKA "calcidiol") well over the 50 ng/mL (125 nmol/L) needed for full immune system function. This is what is measured in "vitamin D" blood tests. Please see the research articles cited and discussed at: https://vitamindstopscovid.info/00-evi/.

Dr Fauci knew very well that vaccines take 10 years or more of testing before their safety can be properly assessed. There's no reason to take 0.15 mg vitamin D3 a day for bone health, so he must have known that this intake was needed for the immune system.

Yet he never admitted these problems with vaccines in the height of the pandemic, and still claims they are safe and effective now. He has never promoted vitamin D3 supplementation. See Siguna Mueller's https://siguna.substack.com/p/dr-fauci-sworn-testimony-vs-his-publication and my comments there.

With most or all the population having 50+ ng/mL circulating 25-hydroxyvitamin D, instead of the current low levels in the 10 to 25 ng/mL, for any given viral insult, each individual would have had a somewhat lower risk of becoming infected. This is the least important benefits. The second most important benefit is that those people who were infected would generally have had mild symptom, or perhaps no symptoms. This is an enormous, life-saving, benefit. However, the most important benefit would be that the average rate of viral shedding for each infected person would be so much lower than it actually was, and is today, that there would have been no pandemic spread.

If everyone in Wuhan had had at least 50 ng/mL circulating 25-hydroxyvitamin D, the escaped virus would not have infected more than a few people, since R0 would have been well below 1.0. No-one would have noticed, since any symptoms would have been indistinguishable from a common cold - except perhaps that in those conditions, such colds and other respiratory diseases would be much less common than are today. There would have been no pandemic spread, and so no global pandemic.

The actual need for virological research, vaccines (even if genuinely safe and effective) anti-viral drugs and monoclonal antibodies would be very much lower than it is today if everyone had enough 25-hydroxyvitamin D to run their immune systems properly.

The ONLY voluntary change I’ve made in my life due to covid is vitamin D3/K2 supplements. Somewhere I read how important that is to the immune system, and how it is almost impossible to get enough from sunlight in winter. And I read how Fauci never even mentioned it until he was asked.

Our government could have actually done something good by recommending Vitamin D, along with sunlight, exercise, diet, but that’s not where the power and money is, so they didn’t.

For brevity I did not mention vitamin K2. I plan to write soon at https://nutritionmatters.substack.com about the best K2 sources. Here is the one my wife and I are taking at present, once a day. We have reason to believe that in this instance, the brand name "Life Extension" constitutes truth in advertising: https://www.lifeextension.com/vitamins-supplements/item02040/vitamins-d-and-k-with-sea-iodine. This has 0.125 mg vitamin D3 (5000 IU) 1 mg of vit. K1 (which I will research before writing), 1 mg of vit. K2 MK4 and 0.1 mg of vit. K2 MK7 - plus 1mg of iodine.

Thanks - I’m generally skeptical of supplements, I see all the stuff for sale at a Whole Foods Market and think this has to be a joke - but the risk/reward factor for Vitamin D seems almost infinitely positive, since it is so cheap and no risks.

Btw, I’m 69 and have never had so much as a cold in the covid era.

I thought flus in general can cause myocarditis. Is there any evidence that the rate of vaccine myocarditis is higher than what covid would have done?

The data shows that teenage males and young men get myocarditis more often when vaccinated whether they get covid or not. I don't know if they understand the mechanism for it, but that wouldn't be surprising for the least tested gene therapy treatment in history.

C'mon, have you ever found a true scientific evidence of isolation of a COVID virus? No, as it does not exist!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
