On woke pandemic policy
How the catastrophic response to the COVID-19 pandemic simply reflects a deeper dysfunction plaguing 21st-century Western civilization
Why did the biggest defenders of establishment policy and messaging during the pandemic so often have Ukraine flags, pronouns, and BLM in their bios, vote Democrat, and hate Elon Musk?
Is there some underlying reason for this?
There is:
The impulse that causes such people to champion victimhood of all varieties also frames their view of COVID.
To them, victims of COVID are victims of an uncaring, cold, even predatory, capitalist society.
Victims of selfish, unenlightened people who refuse to mask or vaccinate or socially distance.
(The “worst” of whom are exemplified by MAGA Republicans.)
Now, protecting victims entails a battle against these oppressors.
It entails a battle against evil.
And a battle against evil permits censorship and all and any other means of waging that battle.
It permits lockdowns and vaccine mandates—because only bad people refuse to socially distance or get vaccinated.
It permits bending the science to match the ideology—because only bad people would insist on an unflagging commitment to the highest standards of science when science conflicts with pre-determined.
That is just what good is.
These things are the least we can all do.
Resisting—not to mention questioning—this is immoral.
Welcome to Woke Pandemic Policy, America’s pandemic policy, from 2020 to 2023.
If we don’t fight back, it’s the ideology that will govern the entire West.
Kevin can you send me the article on glutathione and lung issues.
This post reminded me of the phrase "Summer of Love" which I've heard some red-pilled people say ironically – I wasn't sure what it meant (since the original utterance, I had alway assumed, was in reference to 1969 Woodstock). Anyway, I live in the Seattle area and I had no idea the more recent version of the phrase came from the mayor here HAHA! See link below...

When the George Floyd riots started, I was living in downtown SLC however (a memory prompted by the featured image at the top of this post) and that whole summer is still mind blowing to me; just how much "the libs" lost their minds across the board. It's very clear the whole George Floyd incident was just a pressure valve (perhaps planned) as part of the greater mass-formation rehearsal that constituted the plandemic. BLM and the "Summer of Love" gave the NPCs a mainstream-condoned recess to go outside, justified by incoherent declarations (e.g. "racism is a pandemic too") and contradictory science (i.e. six feet apart doesn't matter if you're in a packed protest of millions of people... hence the aforementioned rationalization). Of course the whole thing was būllsh!t, including the six-feet distancing; riding on so many unscientific claims and assumptions to begin with. But yeah, the woke pandemic policy was sheer madness, group coercion gone unchecked. Sorry for this wall of text comment, but I think about this a lot – just how bizarre 2020 was; shocking how thoughtless so many people revealed themselves to be.
Said differently, the "woke pandemic policy" was so thoroughly rife with contradictions, it yet again felt like a moral test along these lines: were you (ye little people) going to concede to mass-formation, even if you knew the "policy" was absurd and mendacious at face value? Many people did, and I'm really disappointed to be honest – I thought more fellow liberals that I knew would wake up, but they did not. Their "blue-pills" of moral tranquilization were consumed by the fist-full as a result.
