I knew this guy was not to be trusted because I happened to have purchased (before 2020) the book How to Survive a Plague, by David France and read it shortly after lockdowns began. Surprise surprise, who is in there but Anthony Fauci and it was pretty clear he was using the same playbook from that time period again. I was a total outlier saying he was a bad dude when everyone thought he was the savior.
There are mask studies going all the way back to the Spanish flu. Instead of "do they 'protect the individual?'" the question is "do they prevent respiratory illness?" and that answer is: No.
In one shocking example at the end of Trump's term in office, the FDA discovered that the CDC itself has sent out over 3 Million test kits and masks that were Contaminated with cv19 viruses. A lot of people tested false positive and demanded retesting. Many others got duped into taking the shot or shots (and later suffered permanent medical disabilities).
That's why prominent politicians in the US, Canda, England, and France are calling for Fauci to be prosecuted. The man is a pathological liar. He's done this many times in his career at NIAID and been caught.
As well as throughout his career: I have memories of similar actions and statements of his from the early 1980s, stolen scientific valor, well documented in RFK Jr’s book , The Real Anthony Fauci. He is a murderer.
Fauci himself has made statements in prior news interviews early on in the alleged "pandemic" that masks had no measurable effect on preventing infection by inhaling the viruses.
This is after most people still became infected with cv19 after wearing mask they thought protected themselves.

And yet, many are still advocating for masks. We just started the new school year in Japan and my med school has mandated their use for the 5th school year in a row. I do not wear one and expect the “mask confrontation” each time I am on campus, but most are still wearing masks.
